Motivating People

For many delegates on leadership training courses the question of how to motivate their people is near the top of their agenda. Motivation is seen as the driver of personal performance that causes high performers to excel and the missing link in underperformance. This section will look at some different aspects and ideas on motivation and how they can be applied in the workplace. This is intended as a guide to inform management thinking rather than a review of a complex psychological concept so the focus will be on the workplace.
